Hello,
I am Teppei Ueno, a Montreal-based motion graphic designer with over a decade of experience. My creative journey started in childhood, when I would obsessively draw Dragon Ball characters, and took shape at Ravensbourne University London, where I studied Moving Image and Design. During this time I encountered the work of great artists such as Peter Saville and Bruno Munari, who kindled my passion for visual storytelling.
In my work, I aim to intertwine elements of classic elegance and high fashion with the bold and playful creativity of street culture. My portfolio includes major projects such as Sword Art Online Full Dive live, Gundam Factory Yokohama, the Attack on Titan exhibition in Tokyo, Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto exhibition and Shiseido S/Park Museum. All of these projects were enthusiastically received by audiences. Inspiring the viewer and stimulating creativity is not only my profession, it is my passion.
Alongside professional pursuits, I explore my personal interests through independent projects – I am currently delving into documentary filmmaking on Japanese craftsmanship, and in the past I have organized gatherings for creators and music lovers in Tokyo. When not working, I immerse myself in martial arts, balancing my creative and physical energies.
